Activate a license key

When you buy Unicam on the website, the receipt email includes a license key. The key is what unlocks your plan on your hub.

Enter it

1. In the app, open Settings and tap your plan at the top.
2. Choose Enter license key.
3. Paste the key from your receipt and confirm.

The hub checks the key with the license server and switches to your plan straight away. Your plan is never taken on the app’s word: the hub verifies it itself.

One key, more than one hub

A key can be activated on as many hubs as your plan has sites: one hub on Essential and Plus, up to three on Pro. Each hub has its own camera limit.

Daily checks and offline grace

The hub re-checks the key about once a day, so renewals and plan changes are picked up automatically. If it can’t reach the license server, for example during an internet outage, it keeps your plan for 7 days before asking again.

Just renewed or upgraded?

Open the plan screen and refresh, and the hub checks the key again immediately.

Key not accepted?

• Copy the whole key from the receipt, with no extra spaces.
• If it says the key is already active on too many hubs, contact support to move it, or move up to a plan with more sites.
• Still stuck? Contact support with your order number. Please don’t post your key publicly.
